Let's Design Characters for my TABLETOP BOARD GAME!!

I love the plague doctor, I love the idea of an omega character being compassionate in their motives and seeking to end pain.

I feel the Sniper as a real glass cannon - deadly at a distance but always in real danger once enemies come close - is something I would love to play. Maybe make her a LITERAL class cannon! An almost invisible assassin made of glass or crystal...

So many good concepts. Also, chubby elf, that's a first, but in all seriousness I love the little old lady who just wants to grow her garden, wherever she feels like growing it.

I would LOVE to see the Plague Doctor fully fleshed out, and I also really enjoy the idea of the T-rex human hybrid guy, I bet those would both be super fun characters.

Of the 4 new faction members we didn't see fully fleshed out in this video, I personally like: - The Judge - The Plague Doctor - The Witch or The Oni - The Insect Queen or The Blob I quite like The Blob in particular since it allows for some unique physical properties, opens the doorway for something like shapeshifting into different forms, and healers are always a good archetype to have around, especially early on.

I loved that character. What's cool about her is the way you drew her, I can see her in a number of games, not just Gate Crash. Well done, and I love watching you draw. You are so talented and it's a joy to see your creations come to life.

Garden lady is soo adorable!!🌼

I find it really funny how this character started from an old gardener lady and ended up as this super joyful dancing elf with a flower on it’s head 😂 I liked the idea of this eternal gardener lady, but for some reason it was immediately ditched and instead went to an ent or a dancing elf ! It’s fun and I’m sure the miniature is going to look good too, but I’m sad this initial version of this woman didn’t get any further.

The plague doctor and the old guard were the standouts for me. Hope to see them more fleshed out!

I HAVE FEEDBACK/ A PITCH! You should add resin rings around the bases of the minis in the colour of their faction. Your minis are great for painting as you’ve shown but there is a lot of minis and not everyone’s going to paint them. I’m scared for non artists this game will be difficult to play because there will be no difference between the minis at a glance leading to trouble identifying who’s controlling who. (I know they have unique models but in practice it’ll just be a sea of detailed gray). So I suggest adding a small resin ring on each mini in the colour of the faction. That would make identifying the character easy and not take away any of the important detail you’ve done such a good job on, because it’s a separate piece it can be taken off and the mini can be painted as normal without any risk of damage. A game called “UnMatched Battle of Legends” does something similar to this and they have some of the best minis in the business. Love your Art BTW. 👍

I like that you went with the more human looking concept. I think Groot stole the tree people spotlight and that is the first thing your mind goes to when you see a character like that. And I like that the Alpha faction looks like beings that could live on Mt. Olympus.

She reminds me of goddess Demetra. She controls earth blossoms & fertility and changes the seasons according to her temper in Greek mythology. Keep up the awesome work ❤
