To eat Cendol..you must stir it first. The brown colour at the bottom is the brown sugar. That is the reason you must stir it first before you drink.

The flat noodles is called kuey tiaw....bcoz it is soupy and has clear broth...we call it just kuetiaw soup...it can be chicken or beef..the yellow noodles is call egg noodles or mee.....the thin and white noodles is called bihun @meehoon....all those noodles have different textures...

We call those noodles kuey tiaw. There are various ways of cooking it that you can try later. kueytiaw fried clams...kueytiaw soup as you eat...kueytiaw tomyam...kueytiaw kungfu...kueytiaw curry...kueytiaw lakna and my favorite is char kuew tiaw. good luck.I love seeing how excited you both are when you eat. That flat noodle is called kue tiaw, and sometimes spelt differently (kue teo, koteow etc). It's cooked in soup or fried. The most famous version in char kue tiaw (kuetoew), especialy in yhe northern areas such as penang. Welcome to malaysia! Welcome to malaysia.
