The early first century followers of Jesus were a small, struggling group within Judaism who seemingly posed no threat to anyone, certainly not the mighty Roman empire. But there was one determined to see this fledging faith exterminated. His name was Saul and he became the greatest persecutor of the early church. But within a matter of a few years, the Christians fiercest opponent became their most effective advocate. Struck down by a powerful conversion experience on the road to Damascus, Saul -- his name changed to Paul -- went on to become the greatest missionary in the history of Christianity. He went on to write more of the New Testament books than any other. The man who was cast as Paul did an unmatchable job...I have seen this movie at 5 years old, I'm 31 now and I still find myself rewatching this film because of the actor.

All the Apostles were martyred. They gave their every thing for the Gospel. We are so concerned and conscious about our life here on earth,yet Jesus said that if you love your life you will lose it.Its amazing how His followers renounced everything of this life for the next life. Indeed ,life here on earth is a brief (like a vapour: it will pass away)journey for the next eternity. May God help us all to realize the importance of the next life and believe in God to receive salvation. Amen!

Stephen was a brave soul. We modern day Christians are weak when compared to the saints of old. They suffered and died cruel deaths for Jesu's sake but if someone gossips about us, we want to throw a fit as if we are exempt from persecution.

I grew up watching this movie. I was 9 years old when I saw it by first time. And it was indeed a powerful movie to me. I'm from Venezuela and I'm 30 years old now. I hope this movie inspires you to love and seek for the Lord's presence.

At minute 9:00 is the best moment to say Jesus made you walk again, So people can understand the Gospel, I saw everybody smiling and looking at the apostle " When are you going to learn? Nothing can be accomplish unless the name of Jesus is exalted .This days I see thousands of leaders claiming to receive divine power like if Jesus said" Lets share the Glory" Be humble and explode in loud shout " Jesus is Lord, Jesus saved him" Glory to Jesus" Only Jesus save" Amen.
