I wrote this piece today inspired by Bach's inventions. I have been studying Bach and Debussy quite a lot recently and wanted to write something for piano that utilizes Bach's two-part counterpoint technique. The piece seems to mimic a baroque piece written in impressionistic fashion - or so, that seems to be the result.
