"They're were more than willing to die to give up any information or betray their emperor. Actually, when the death of emperor Palpatine was confirmed a huge portion of the Royal Guard committed suicide as they had felt they had failed in protecting him." This literally means most of the guards' completely believed in the idea that the emperor was their sole goal in this life. That they are the greatest force in securing his life and must do so at all costs. That is SERIOUS dedication and loyalty. Dark side or not, they did well in inspiring loyalty.

"There's a reason they were handpicked by the emperor himself to guard his excellency." Because unlike the other soldiers of the empire, these guys could actually hit what they were aiming at.
  • @jbeast_131_6
What do you do with a class of you most intelligent and skilled soldiers? Empire: Kill 99% of the class No wonder they lost the galactic civil war.
  • @derektoews5586
Imagine if instead of facing Vader, the best had to fight an actual graduated Imperial Guard, just to show the others just what Palpatine wants as his bodyguards.
  • @JimBobe
Imagine being the guy that kills vader in the fight lmao
