One thing I liked about Jake is he’s genuinely angry that Rango lied to the people. He’s a cruel man, but a cruel man with principles Edit: Okay, to all the smooth brained Neanderthals in the replies saying JaKe iSn’T a MaN, hE’S a SnAKe. I KNOW HES A SNAKE. The characters in this flick are so three dimensional and fleshed out they feel very human. STOP BEING SO GODDAM LITERAL

Judging by the end, Jake was only so condescending in his first scene because he despises liars and frauds, because he has a sense of honor. And for that, I love him.

5:52 I like that he doesn't just magically spot the bullet amongst that debris; his attention is drawn to it because the bullet's shell reflects sunlight into his eye.

Dude Rango is Underated and these scenes show almost everything great about this movie. The Music, Character Design, Action, Style, Animation, Voice acting, Cinematography Just a Pure Masterpiece.
