For 2017's Silicon Valley Comic Con, Adam goes incognito in one of his favorite cosplays--Chewbacca! This upgraded Chewie is a bit different than the Wookiee costume he wore a few years back, with a new bandolier, bowcaster, and mask. Plus, Adam rigs up an animitronic C-3PO to wear on his back, complete with custom dialogue!

Oh, I am in there, that's my R2-D2. In the heat of things I didn't fully realize how amazing Adam's costume was. Details of my R2 build splattered all over my channel for those interested... Adam was extremely gracious and complimented me on the build. I think R2 blushed.

Was fortunate enough to have a chance meeting with the late Peter Mayhew in kansas city at planet comicon 2013. My toddler grandson and I were taking a break against a large concrete piller inside the main hall when Mr. Mayhew came by on a electric scooter. He stopped and said it was good to see people bringing their kids to these things. I said, Thank you! But this is one of my grandchildren! My grandson was only interested in the scooter of course, but Mr. Mayhew didnt speak another word, just grinned and gave me a thumbs up, and off he scooted with several folks in tow. Made my con. Rest in peace Mr. Mayhew.

Something I'd recommend for the future to wear this, is put black makeup around your eyes to make them blend more into the costume.
