Brother Nelson braves mountain trails to distribute essential foodstuffs to Indian communities. In the Andes, Chucho supports his entire village thanks to barter and his 4X4.
On Lake Maracaibo, fishermen helplessly watch the contamination of the water by abandoned oil wells while they no longer have the means to buy fuel for their boats.

This video made me gasp! Venezuela is in the news right now with their presidential election and I had NO idea of the general situation there. Very informative and well presented.

I have researched Brother Nelson. His oversight of the Indian Mission gave hope to so many people. He made education, nutrition, and human rights his life’s work. The more good one does the more sinister evil forces fight to prevent the good. Check out the number of people who opposed his Christian service. As a Christian, I am proud to see that a fellow Christian put his faith in action and gave his life and energy for the people.Eternity will only tell the true impact of Brother Nelson’s work. One thing is that he was an outspoken critic of socialist government in Venezuela. Well according to my research his critique was warranted.

The oil that is flowing can be processed easily into gasoline and diesel. Small stills could be set up and plenty of gas/diesel could be produced. Seems too that would be lucrative considering the overall situation.
