As Israel's forces pushed further south into Gaza over Christmas and New Year, supplies of medicine, anaesthetic and crucial equipment began to run low - and eventually run out entirely in some places.
This is what Dr Ferguson saw.

Thank you Dr. Fergusan for everything you did for the people of Gaza. Risking your life to treat patients in a collapsed health care system, you are truly a HERO! Thank you!

Horrors of horror, humanity is dead, they talk of the middle ages being a barbaric era, this era is no less barbaric.

I get a sense that Dr. Ferguson might be suffering from PTSD at the moment. He's doing a good job of keeping it together for the cameras and making a dignified presence, but the man's eyes are in a hollow state of shock, his expressions are lopsided, and I can see mild tremors. He was in Gaza for only two weeks, and already he's seen and experienced things that have shook him to his very core and created what will most likely be long standing psychological damage. That said, just think of how a Gazan must feel.

The way this Englishman risks his life has left me in complete awe. His description has left me shaken

Can’t say how much I respect and admire the determination and care given by these medical staff
-
Thank you Andy ! I met you in person! You are an angel on earth!!

I'm amazed how this young boy stil smiling and shaking hands with medical team after loosing his leg and entiere family. Most of people would beind sunk down in depresión. Surly he is but I can't understend his strenght and corrage. Long live the palestinian people
-
And then soldiers letting off bombs with music and laughing with no sense of humanity.
-
The level of evil being perpetuated is beyond any words I can muster. Just numb.
-
Thank you Dr. Fergusan for all you did in Gaza. As a teacher and American, I have no words for my students in the classroom. This is so wrong in every way.
-
Very sad you could see how emotional the doctor is
-
I've so much love, profound respect, and admiration for this doctor and all others like him. Such incredible bravery. God bless you
-
Thank you for reporting. May the world open its eyes and work to alleviate the suffering of sentient beings everywhere, as this gentleman seems to be doing.

I imagine that many of the courageous doctors will themselves be suffering PTSD for years, too. No normal human being can be exposed to these horrors without something eventually going wrong inside. In my book, it's people like Andy who are the REAL heroes in this world; they hurt no-one, and they risk their own lives and health to help others in circumstances few of us can truly envisage. Knighthhoods and gongs for pop stars and footballer managers? Do me a favour!

Thank you Andy. And its amazing but heartbreaking to see Ahmed still laughing after all he's been through. It's great that channel 4 are humanising these people, so they're not just a number.

Poor poor Gaza Thank-you for all you have done for the people Dr.❤

I Admire DR. Fergusan going into Gazza and saving the lives of vulnerable people. DR. Fergusan is a hero . I pray for all the people of Gazza . I hope the people of Gazza have peace and safety. I pray that all of the children get evacuated from Gazza . My Heart goes out to all the people of Gazza 💔💔

Got goose bumps and shivers listening to this…. This is what you see in movies … and never imagined we would all witness such atrocities
-
What's being done to Gaza has exposed the best and the worst of the humanity. Thank you Dr Ferguson for being a true hero 🙏
