It’s very impressive at how flexible the weapon system in Destiny is. Some of the weapons people crafted would crash other games no doubt.
-
My biggest take away from the glitch is that I’m uncertain if I ever want to see a Cerberus +1 buff.
-
Really like the idea of The Witness being so impossibly difficult that only a minute fraction of the raid community can beat it. A good way to cut the content pipeline and leave a lasting challenge.
-
I think the best lesson that Bungie could take from this is that we would LOVE wild shit like this. Imagine if holiday events were this crazy (not random, just wild).
-
A D2 tower massacre would be pretty crazy. I would love to see that 😂
-
The big thing I liked about this glitch is how it put people in a position where they felt like they couldn’t lose. So they tried things that would scare them off like raids, dungeons, grandmasters. The thing is, in a lot of that stuff, mechanics are a lot more important than damage, so people are gonna find out that they could have done a lot more stuff than they tried to do

Me and my friends had the most fun in this game in such a long time. I even had friends who hadn’t played since witch queens launch come back and play this weekend. It was just such a breath of fresh air and different that now we’re playing again even after it’s fixed

The glitch itself couldn't have been predicted. It has probably existed since The Witch Queen and who knows how many players have BEEN using it on the DL for unfair advantages. I think embracing it and making sure everyone has equal acces to it makes the game more fair than if it were just a handful of ppl who knew of the glitch. Plus big creators covering it allows Bungie to see & fix it faster.

I would love Bungie to make an ornament for Ammit, a shader , and an emblem to commemorate this "event". Then make it part of the lore of Destiny as well, maybe even have a week/weekend every year where primary weapons get a massive damage buff in PvE.

Ive only ever done GMs once, was incredibly intimidated by them. To go into a GM and instantly send a barrier champion into the stratosphere was an incredible feeling. But, i realize GMs are way less scary than i made them out to be. I do plan on doing them more

I actually learned a lot of good strategies for dungeons regarding mechanics and enemy spawns and stuff, being able to learn those things in a less overwhelming environment really helped me out.
-
The neomuna heavy gl with agressive frame was the best thing to happen, being able to boop enemies then seeing all the grenades ricochet everywhere was a dream come true

To me, this glitch really showed how much fun the game could be, as I've always wondered what it would be like if we could break the game and be encouraged to do so. It felt a lot like if Warframe spilled over into Destiny, giving guns Multishot, Blast, any mod in the game. This was so fun.
-
I found out why i was having so much fun with that glitch. It was like i was playing warframe but in destiny. The speed, the damage, the crazy weapons. It would be great if they could have a fun game mode with scaling difficulty using those bugged weapons
-
What I enjoyed the most was that because of the damage output, things like dungeons felt a lot more mechanic focused again. 3 people, myself included who regularly play and had glitched weapons ran 3 new lights through their first raid(s). It was fun because out damage compensated for theirs and they could focus on learning the mechanics.

This weekend was awesome over the top fun! I sincerely hope bungie takes notes on the overwhelmingly positive feedback. I feel like bungie has sucked so much of the fun out of destiny 2 with nerfs to weapons, armor, and abilities.
-
Although I wasn't able to craft a glitched weapon (hard to do on PS5), I enjoyed everyone else having fun. My issue is when the LFG for activities like the Grandmaster, are being gated by people who will kick you if you don't have a glitched weapon.
-
There's good and bad but I think the best part of this event is how we simply got to try out things that normally we don't get in the game. Overall this could be treated as research data for fun new items in the future. The game felt like Borderlands and you could make some nasty fun combos. Maybe some of them become official items.
-
bro one of the first things I thought of when I saw it starting to get out of hand was fally massacre lol. very good analogy. also, there are definitely positives that came out of this weekend's shenanigans.. you saw a lot of people doing content they normally couldn't do.. trying activities that they normally wouldn't try.. and possibly finding new methods for stuff they've already done. the chaos was a catalyst for creativity and that is pretty special imo

This weekend was some of the most fun I've had in Destiny in AWHILE. I actually really wanted to stay on and keep playing, I wasn't just playing to disassociate or grind, I was having fun
