Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid adds to an already burgeoning strikeforce of Vinicius Junior, Rodryo, Jude Bellingham and the soon-to-arrive Endrick.

So where does Mbappe fit in? Liam Tharme argues that with Carlo Ancelotti as manager Real Madrid with all their superstars is the perfect place for Mbappe to reach his potential.

Marco Bevilacqua illustrates.

They've had over 2 years to plan his position. If he didn't fit they'd have moved on a while ago
  • @ollie1178
Neymar at PSG had some of the best defensive numbers in the entire team 😂 Messi and Mbappe were the true non factors
  • @masterninya8792
4:19 Modric doesnt start anymore, it's going to be Tchouamèni in that position
  • @CarisNat
Real Madrid have been the most tactically flexible team of the past decade. They won a UCL with a 35 year old striker in 2022 and won WITHOUT a striker at all literally last year. Thinking they didn't have a plan for how they'd use a player they've been chasing for 5 years is ludicrous.
  • @keerthichandra40
Ancelotti is perhaps the most underrated managers of all time..Last of a kind who adapts to the players and allows them to express themselves instead of sticking them to a rigid system... Although Xabi Alonso gives me some hope..
  • @GuyJames
so in a nutshell 'Carlo will sort it out' - I'm sure he will, but we're not much the wiser as to how. I think the final suggestion of Jude at 10 and Kylian at 9 (but interchanging with Vini) will probably be the solution
  • @mikesantiago14
real madrid have 3 starting left wingers. and all of them in the top 10 best itw, too. lol
  • @cristinasada4819
Lovely thing is, if Vini gets tired, they can slot in Kylian at LW and have Endrick as a traditional 9, or Rodrygo as a false 9 (like against Sevilla) — or vice versa if Kylian does too. Let’s not forget Arda Guler either… quite a bit of depth here, finally.

ancelotti doesnt get enough praise man, he's got 4 balon d'or winners under his belt, won at almost every club he's gone to and has always stood by his tactics. him and mou are my favorite coaches cause they love the game through and through
  • @TheDYNAMITE001
Best part is his injury record is insanely low for the number of games he's played since his debut. I'm so excited for the new season, RM's wins were hardly convincing last season.
  • @mayuralone6786
He is exactly what Madrid needed with their counterattacking style,a fast lethal finisher
  • @owaisshaikh6225
Wow, it's nice to actually see a positive video about this transfer, otherwise everyone is busy saying how this won't work or how it can turn into a disaster
  • @jabbastoes
I just realized something random but cr7 is older than lamine Yamal and Nico Williams ages combined
  • In 2002, Real Madrid, dubbed the "Galacticos" by the press, aimed to build a team of superstars. After winning their first UCL in 32 years in 1998 and again in 2000, they focused on signing top players. This included Luis Figo (Ballon d'Or 2000) and Zidane (Ballon d'Or 1998). Their strategy worked initially, winning another UCL in 2002, making it three titles in five years and promising a bright future. Then came the game-changing moment Ronaldo (R9), the world's most feared striker, joined Real Madrid fresh from his 2002 World Cup win with Brazil, where he was the top scorer. He also won the Ballon d'Or that year. Initially, the team looked unstoppable, securing a European Super Cup win over Feyenoord. However, problems soon arose. Despite Ronaldo's brilliance, the team, already packed with offensive stars like Raul and Morientes, struggled in the Champions league. They started the season slowly and were eventually knocked out in the semifinals by Juventus.Real Madrid remained committed to their strategy by signing players like Owen and Beckham in the following years, but their Champions League success eluded them. They eventually shifted tactics, and it took 12 years to win the Champions League again. High-profile transfers can have mixed results. Mbappe's best position is on the left wing, where Real already has Vini Jr. This means Mbappe might play as a striker. Currently, Real has a younger, more balanced squad with a promising future, even if they aren't dominating under Carlo.
  • @CaraVerde
No way they will prioritize Modric over Tchouameni or Camavinga.
  • Finally! I've been waiting for you guys to make this video for months now. You seem yo be the only ones that really understand how perfect the timing of this transfer is. Real is set up to dominate for the next decade. Ancelotti and his player first mentality also for freedom and great squad harmony. People think too much about systems these days but Ancelotti knows exactly how yo get the best out of his players.
  • Finally... a somewhat tactical video from the Tifo main channel for the first time in years. Clicked immediately
