“Ego requires less thought”. That’s a bar 💯
  • I think he made the right call, it didn’t sit well and even the whole album came off disingenuous way. Like the good dude you know trying to act a part for the other dudes in the group. Imo him saying it was the lamest ish that was that Cole energy. You can be a great rapper without diminishing your respect for your peers. That Kendrick drake stuff was pure hate. Cole Isn’t the guy to drop a diss taking to this dudes son about how trash his father is. That’s never been Cole and it’s no right to expect that energy from him when he’s never givin it before.

1# I understand why Kendrick was annoyed with the big 3 reference. Like I write my own raps. I do it so well that I won a Pulitzer price ( the only rapper to ever do it) , and have 17 Grammies, and you are going to put me in the same category as a dude who doesn't even write his own stuff? He even have ghost writers, and credited writers for beef/battle songs. What are we even talking about? I bet Kendrick was even more annoyed because that verse came from Cole , who supposedly, writes his own rap too 😂😂 2# Honestly, that 7 mn drill song was uncessary if Cole didn't feel like beefing with Kendrick. It kinda overshadowed the album itself. On the other hand, I can't help thinking that he apologized after the mixed reviews receptions for that diss track. Anyways, he has to do him, so...

No. Jcole should have left his diss out there . And if Kendrick or Cole wanted peace then he should have smoothed things over with Kendrick behind the scenes. If like that is in any way a Cole diss, then cole should stand by his record. Love and respect is a 2 way street if Kendrick had no problem dissing Cole, making things awkward for him, then Cole should have no problem firing back, cuz why would someone who should have love for you put you in that position

I’m a J Cole fan, 1- he is authentic and doesn’t prescribe to the whole rap persona. 2- he’s mindful and appreciative of his moves in the industry and real life. When I heard he dissed KL I felt my respect for him go down and I wasn’t interested in hearing neither the diss nor the apology until now. And I’m proud of him for doing what his authentic self felt right. And by doing so, shows that he is genuinely a thoughtful, mature man. 🫡

Cole gassed himself and his fans up by his own accord. Didnt Cole himself say their generation is different and theyre all really competitive? But when the time came, he was "too good" for competition? Suddenly hes Mr. Peace and Mental Health and Spirit? it wouldve been one thing if he never replied at all. but after the dozens of times he mustve heard 7MD to mix and master it, he didnt find it in himself to be too good for ego then huh

J cole only used 5% of his power in 7 min drill. He can destroy Kendrick but it would've definitely ended there friendship

The song was unnecessary because Might Delete Later was a perfect response. He didn’t need a direct song to Kdot. He did enough “shit talking” that it would sufficed as a response. I enjoyed 7 minute drill, but when you listen to the talk on Might Delete later Trae the Truth in Ibiza literally sums up everything. It honestly even makes the apology make sense. The peer pressure was to make a direct response, a direct “diss” but it wasn’t needed. The internet so funny and fake.

  • As a freethinker I think Cole was told to the powers datz be to apologize & fall back & let drake take the battle becoz dey wanted Kendrick to be the top tier in the game right nw becoz drake been the 6 God for a long time so his time is ul! #youarewhaturock
  • I’m old enough to remember living thru BIG and PAC. The only true winner was Nas. Incidentally Nas and Cole are close, and I believe Nas dropped a few words in his ear. Question was can you choose peace and be the best Answer yes… his name is Nas. Still lifting people.
  • J.Cole fumbled and paid the price for fumbling. If he didn't want to enter the drama he simply shouldn't respond. Also don't come at me with some "bUT hE wAs PeEr PreSsuReD". Lmao and? A grown man who's almost 40 years old was peer pressured by his fans and friends into doing something he didn't want to. How is that an excuse? It's not. Cole fumbled and he simply CAN'T be considered the no. 1 rapper. He simply isn't.
