Warning: Full Spoilers for Starfield ahead!

Starfield's New Game Plus is its most intriguing concept... If you get lucky. I’ve already hit Starfield’s credits screen four times. Not because I can’t get enough of playing Bethesda’s latest grand-scale RPG, but because I find the concept that powers its new game plus mode to be completely intriguing. Not to sound too much like Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar, but where I once thought I’d be losing dozens of hours exploring places in this galaxy, it’s actually what takes place in one room that has captured my imagination most.

There's also a new game plus universe where you meet YOURSELF who just delivered the artifact from Vectera to Constellation just like in the original gameplay story, and you can recruit YOURSELF as a crewmember.

While in the unity you talk to yourself and can ask who made the artifacts and it says the creators did and that you may meet them one day it kinda got me wanting to beat the game over and over and see all the universes
  • Spoiler Alert ALL LODGE VARIATIONS 1. You meet only Vaso, everyone else is dead. There are no other members here. 2. You meet the non-starborn version of yourself. You can convince her to join your crew, and thus you mentor yourself, but all the members are also here. 3. Multiple versions of you hang out in the constellation. You can't interact past the intro dialogue. There's no way to kill them either. I'm not sure if there is more here. 4. Andreja has taken over the place. She wants to take down the constellation. Killing her gives you her clothes. 5. Walter Stroud buys up the place to sell you the artifacts for 100k. It doesn't make a lot of sense, as he probably pays more to build The Eye. Killing him gives you his suit. 6. You meet the hunter who has already killed everyone. He then gives you the artifacts. 7. Cora Coe has come back as a starborn. She is here to avenge the death of her father. 8. You meet Sarah at the door, but she is wounded. She seems upset, and you only find out that yourself is already here and has killed everyone. You have to fight a evil version of you. 9. Children's constellation - All members have disappeared, and only children are running the place. They just give you the artifacts. 10. Children's constellation - It turns out all the members have retired. This is the one where you think a plant is Sarah briefly.

Here is hoping shattered space fleshes out the possibilities of new game plus, that would be better in my opinion than just adding a few extra quests or star systems.
  • So the thing to do here is play the main quest, get the fancy ship and armour, and on the second playthrough do all of the side and fa tionquests

my NG+2 had Sam Coe's daughter and her crew all suited up (player apparently killed Sam in this universe). saving and inventory was not available- pushed thru with getting the artifacts and died right at the last foght inside the buried temple.. only to start off at the end of newgame +1. dont see it as a waste of time despite having to play thru the artifacts for half a day

This reminds me of the Dragon's Dogma ng+ as the fight with the senchal is what is different each time, keeping track of all your previous illiterations of the players character, abilities and equipment.

Man once you start finding Shrines and getting there version of Starbourne shouts it changes again.

I’m trying to think of if it is worth it to go to new game plus if you are planning on getting all of the achievements
  • @FedShillFred
The New Game+ is maybe the coolest part of the game, and the game is dope
  • @jacobkenobi6602
I’m betting there is going to be a mod that makes each universe a little different.
  • @condorX2
When your character touched the rock at the beginning, it feel like a scene from the movie Total Recall.
  • so what happens to the companions cause in some world it seem that constellation is dead retired or disappeared
  • @H3gamer360
1 Starfield hour is equal to 7 earth hours, kind of like human years to dog years.
  • @supleted
So you're telling me Starfield is an Isekai.
  • @TheWildArcanine
Question, do you keep each iteration of Starborn armors after each Unity?
  • When you start a new game and you sit in the Pilot's seat. Turn the ship around
