Beam Overload has always been a favorite of mine, but it and even CSV are plagued by misfires where the server just decides to ignore your ability request and goes on cooldown anyway. Regardless, the build has some of the most visceral weapon effects and high damage numbers that can be very satisfying to watch. In this video I go over some of the minor changes to beam overload while using the Theseus Miracle Worker Destroyer.

For a DPRM replacement, the flagship console set was unlocked with the legendary bundle. Adaptive Emergency Systems is a decent approximation of the DPRM.

Enhanced Induction Coils also come with the Fed T1 Oberth. Pointing it out. As the Fed and KDF version belong in different sets. Thanks for that Cryptic.

Great video but I need different space doffs, I've checked out those ## of 47 bogs doffs on the exchange, I know others have spent a lot of $$ opening those Borg gambling boxes, I just cannot bring myself to spend $$ like that anymore on a 14-year-old game. Again, thank you for the builds, and please keep them coming.

great video auggie. if i may ask, have you ever used the starship trait called fragment of ai tech? gives you energy weapon damage boost depending on your control ability. takes a lot to get to 300, but it's giving me 30% extra passive damage. seems good but i wonder if it's worth it. by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! i will try my best to make that stream

Looking like a very nice build Aggy, obviously excluding the temporal stuff.. how easy is it to move a build like this over to say the Lexington (for a broadside OVER) or the Leggy Avenger? or any other ship with MW and something juicy :)

If you don't have or want to replace the Agony Phaser with some other flavor of phaser the crafted ones with PEN modfier are much better. The penetration bonus is way better than the DoT granted by the agony phasers.

I would recommend using the Heart of Sol starship trait for this build. More cat2 phaser damage, plus more haste which is fantastic on Beam Overload. Not to mention the trait procs on Temporal abilities, which this ship can run three of

Great ship and fun to fly. Awesome video. One question though, is it me or does it seem extra squishy? I love destroyers (and warships) right now my favorite to fly are the Hydra, the Theseus and the Deimos. OF the three, it just seems the Theseus is squishy - like its shields and hull are made out of cheese even in comparison to the other two. I don't have the DPRM on my tactical character (oddly enough I have it on my science one - but that was my main for ages). Maybe ill save up for it.

I might reminder the Bird-of-prey T6 players can get from Klingon recruit event might have the console similar or same as the console from tier 1 or 3 Bird-of-prey ship

Do you think exceed rated limits would be more viable now with its haste than focusing on overload crts now thanks to the iso consoles and higher wep power? Still debating for a non tac toon too if the x4 crtd mod is needed on beams or can an eng just do x4 dmg mod now if they’re averaging 50 crth and 200 crtd

I love Beam Overload but at this point is beyond pathetic how Craptic can't fix the miss fire problem.
