Disclaimer: 16:8 Intermittent Fasting is something I am trying to see if it helps me lose twenty pounds... This video is simply sharing what I ate today during my first day back at it. Always do your own research and consult with a physician if needed when making changes to how and/or when you eat; everyone is different.

Sooo, I tried 16:8 IF before, but I think I set my eating window too late based on my work at home and carpool (kid pickup) schedule. I was struggling waiting until 11:00am to have a cup of coffee (with sugar and creamer) so I decided to start back up today, but changed my eating window to 7:30am-3:30pm...

This way, I can enjoy my coffee early and enjoy breakfast without calling it brunch... Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day.

Based on how I'm feeling right now, these hours are definitely going to work for me... Mind you, I'm not dieting or counting calories - simply fasting for 16 hours a day. We shall see if it works for me!

I wish you best of progress. I have been doing it for a month, but not eating as healthy as you. I even did it while on vacation for a week in Florida. I never stick to diets, but since I was eating regular food that I like without restrictions, I stuck to the window of time. I had thought I might not lose any weight because I still ate dessert here and there and even small amounts from restaurants, but I have still lost weight! I truly believe this time window principle makes more difference than the food. Yes, eating healthy is better and likely faster weight loss, but if you are like me and quit after a short time, at least stick with the time window and you will still lose weight. I am down only 6 pounds for the month, but it shows in looser clothes and absolutely see the difference in the mirror. I never thought just 6 lbs. would show but on this type eating it absolutely does. I think I can stick to the time eating as long as that is the only restriction. I am flexible to change times to fit my plans. I was thinking how slow steady progress is the right way as even 6 pounds a month is a huge amount if you lost each month consecutively. I'm 56 so I dare not lose weight too quickly as many older people like myself that do, age in the face a lot. We don't have the skin elasticity or collagen to support fast weight loss. My goal is to lose 4-5lbs per month for a total of 50lbs lost in a year. More important than that goal is that I do not regain any of it. I am determined not to yo yo. I hope to give you much encouragement.
