Thank you for the video and sharing the cost as well. I was thinking that I probably couldn’t build for much less than $40/sq ft. but seeing your video gave me hope. I’m a widow and mom of four that has to house my kids on raw land and do it as economically as possible while planning toward a more permanent solution on the land. I’ve done a lot of building, so I’m confident that my kids and I can do it together. You’ve given me hope, and I thank you!

I've never even built a birdhouse but after watching this I think I'm going to build a double story house in my yard. Hahaha. You make it look easy.

As you get older gloves are a must. Dogs and brothers are great. They are much the same. Hard to be serious .lo!

I've never built anything bigger than a bird house, and that was many years ago, yet here I am in my 50's building a small cabin, alone, on the side of a mountain, in a rainforest, on a small island in the Caribbean. Your video has been very informative. I really like the way you framed out your walls and window and door emplacements.

My first YouTube cabin build. I think I picked the best one. The flow of the build, the narration and commentary, the level of detail, and that wonderful dog made it a total Joy to watch. While I may watch other cabin builds, as I move toward building my own, this one is my reference standard.
