Friends, throughout all the recent FNAF releases some thoughts keep popping into the back of my mind, while yes we have all new kinds of mysteries to solve with Ruin and Help Wanted 2, we also STILL have some unresolved questions from Security Breach. From the specially colored balloons to a possible Monty Golf code and most recently the tally mark code... what does it all mean?! To answer that, I'm gonna need YOUR help!

Sometimes I think Scott lives to drive MatPat slowly insane.
  • @BarterRocket46
It seems MatPat is having trouble with his theories. Let’s motivate him with a controlled shock
  • @Hitoshuratdn
I did it. I've finally caught up with matpat's fnaf theories. After a 3 year hiatus from fnaf, I have now continued to not understand what is happening with this series.
  • Hey everyone!!! Not sure if anyone’s gonna see this, but I thought I’d mention it anyway :)) On the cameras in Ruin, on the screen with Vanny when you do the picture matching game, you move to the cameras 2,4 and 5 :0 Not sure if this helps but thought I’d through it out there :D Cya loyal theorists Edit: Hey everyone!! I’m back! Just realized that in the mini games with food in Help Wanted 2 you can place an order for 245, I haven’t seen anyone try yet, so I don’t know if it works Thought I’d throw it out there!
  • So funny thing is, the final game of this franchise doesn't even need to be a game, just a full walk through of the lore and explanation of all the codes, and how to solve them.
  • @TheRealZura
I can only imagine Scott relaxing in his hammock sipping on a cocktail at his private beach house and laughing manically at this video.

4 questions for this 1.) Was the color by number put into the foxy grid? 2.) Would it make sense if the tally sets were their own sets? Like insyead of combining the different tally sets, what about having each tally set being a letter. The spaces are where the word ends 3.) Remember when the tallies were put into a grid? Did you put it in that hill sequence? Or would that not have worked? 4.) Are the sticky notes talking about the different endings?

Matpat went from trying to tell every bit of the lore in fnaf to actually being in the lore of fnaf (aka) the official movie
  • @AceFaz
The biggest thing I'm noticing in the Tally marks, is that there are 8 Small gaps, and one large one. In the logbook, there are 8 tally marks. I was thinking we should slot those 8, into the smaller gaps, leaving only the large one empty. As for that one large gap, it could be to Indicate some kind of space between 2 words, or an unifinished/unsolved part of the puzzle.

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again expecting something to change. Matpat: banging your head against the desk until fnaf makes sense.
  • @NickNui
Some weird things to think about. It could be referring to specific things that happen to specific nights in the old games: such as specific phone calls on nights 2, 4, and 5 in an old game. The specific colors used for each number seem to match the "order" of each animatronic. 2 is bluish like bonnie, 5 is red like foxy, and 5 is yellow like golden freddy: the only 3 of the original gang that don't have a version in security breach. Definitely think baby is the mimic now. There always seemed to be a difference between her coding as a child-naping remnant scooper, and the soul of the child inside her.

Sometimes I wonder what Scott thinks of these theories and thinking about how close or far they are and laughing about it
  • @Mushroomgurl22
Matpat is the type of person to look at fnaf and say “is anyone gonna theorize that?” And not wait for an answer
  • @amariearhone567
I absolutely love learning the lore and hearing about new secrets being discovered, can’t wait to hear what’s uncovered from the next video
  • @RanterDeRants
Uh, dude, there are more instances of the tally marks in ar mode. Like, everywhere. Didn't get close enough look at them bc no one stops to look, but they're there.
  • @moileb
I swear MatPat won't stop with the FNAF theories until he has figured out every detail down to the exact size of withered Freddy's Fazballs. Edit: I love the replies actually theorising on the size of his Fazballs Edit 2: This comment aged like milk. Youtube and the fnaf community will never be the same without MatPat
  • @demonslayer3288
while watching the video I noticed something. in the fanaf survival book there are exactly 8 sets of tally markings, and at first this didn't seem important but then I saw that in the grid of tallies from ruin I noticed that. there are exactly 8 spaces, I don't know which tallies go in which spaces, but it is definitely something that seems like more than a coincidence.
  • I don’t know if fnaf has an anti-piracy, but maybe that could hold something. I mean, it just feels like the type of game that would have a lore implicating clue in the anti-piracy.
