  • This stream was s gorgeous. Perfect little comfy trout stream. I was fishing one probably 4 times wider, standing in the water like you, heard something Big come thru woods, for the water, Big Black Bear just appears head first dives in, when his head came up about 4' from me, he looked at me, he turned and did dog paddle 300 mph. Lol. I turned tried to run 300 mph and fell face first into knee deep water, enough to soak everything. We were both afraid of each other equally. Lol. I always carry sidearm across chest or waist , just in case. ( Licensed of course to carry concealed) Good great memories.

You really need to learn to fly fish these waters in Maine. Fun trip. Take care.
  • My friend, you are living your best life. One of my favorite videos of yours! I could tell by your voice in the morning, that it was a cold night.

little word of advice as someone who spends weeks in the north Maine woods, aka zone 1-2. once you register at a gate check point make sure to follow all rules Irving has in place. they will ban you super quick if someone reports you and always always loggers have right of way we are blessed to access these millions of acres. awesome video as usual, I typically go deep in zone one they call it the big 20. farthest north you can go in Maine.

You know how your videos help someone? I'm going blind (glaucoma) and I've never been to Maine. So.. You've given me a tour and filled my head with what it's like.. So now I know. Just wanted to let you know, thank you.

  • Did you really start a campfire and then leave it unattended to go fishing? You’re a firefighter, right?
