I'm not a Real, United, or Barcelona fan, I'm just a fan of all great players, athletes; I'm 67 years old. I've seen a lot of athletes in my life, in football, NBA, American football, tennis, etc. But I've never seen smth like this. Cristiano Ronaldo, he is just insane. I'll explain. There are greats like Federer, Nadal, Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Jordan, and Serena Williams - no doubt, they're giants. But they didn't have life like Ronaldo - born into extreme poverty, to an alcoholic, veteran father. If you never met an alcoholic's child, you will never understand how this horrible experience impacts them mentally, it's awful and very complicated. Ronaldo is hated, because primitives don't WANT to research more than just gossip, they don't want to understand him. They already labeled him. Fans, press, haters. I did my homework, I have watched him for years now. He is a true inspiration & somebody out of this universe. His work ethic, talent, bulletproof mentality - he has all of the elements. They hate him, whistle at him, invent lies about him, click baits, yet he keeps going. He didn't have help from his father/family like Messi did- it's a fact. Messi always had a very close, loving Italian (their roots) family, Messi still has a father as a manager, who helps him 24/7. Truth is, Ronaldo is like all sports legends, who were outsiders - he is a success, but it seems he always walks alone, has his own ways, no matter how they're criticizing him, there are drama&demons about him, just like it was with Maradona. People think they know him, but they don't. Misunderstood universally like many greats before him. My favorite modern athlete, because of it all. Fascinating story, if you only ask questions & dig deeper!!
