Which star (torx) bit brand is best? Let’s find out! Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, Wera, Wiha, Irwin, Bosch, MasterForce, Bauer, Hercules, and Ryobi. Each star bit drives in and then remove s100 screws into pressure treated 4x4s. New and used torx bits tested for failure load torque as well as wear resistance. I've never accepted a sponsorship or even a promotional item from manufacturers in order to provide the most unbiased test reviews possible. I buy all of the products and test supplies with the help of Patreon support. Hope you enjoy the video!

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the time, effort, trouble and professionalism this man invests in his videos every single week?
  • I want to go to Home Depot and look for products stating Project Farm approved. Can’t wait for that day. This guy deserves it. Thanks for all the hard work you put in all of your videos. 🙏🙏🙏

The best parts of these videos is when you list off a tremendous amount of work and effort nonchalantly as if it's just a simple step when making a cake. Then you quickly move on to the next hard thing you had to do in order to keep me entertained as I just sit here. I'd stand up and applaud you if I wasn't so lazy.

"As seen on Project Farm" will be the new thing items are advertised with.

Keep it up, who else here doesn't buy anything until they check to see if Project Farm has tested it?

I don’t understand all these thumbs down?? Are they all the manufacturers of tools who are pissed at him? This guy deserves an excellence award. It is incredible the level of testing he does, he is the BEST in YouTube.

I have many tire gauges and they all seem to read differently. A test on cheap vs expensive and ones that go to very low pressures would be awesome. Thanks for all your hard work to guide us in making good buying decisions

I don't buy any of the products he shows in his videos, but I still watch every one them just to appreciate the time and efforts he puts into the videos, this is what content creation means, and not some 10 second tik tok

As someone who's profession is in quality control... you do the work of an entire team. Very well done, I also feel much better about having so many DeWalt bits hehe :D

Is my wife going to get mad at me for watching another Project Farm video instead of washing the dishes? "We're going to test that"
  • @CaneDimitrov

All of your videos are great, but this one made my arm hurt just WATCHING you drive so many screws. You put a huge amount of work into these. Smart + good planning + lots of hard work = great result. Thank you!

I caught myself reading a packaging claim today and saying to my dog "we're gunna test that" and I swear she rolled her eyes

Project farm: Files taxes. The IRS: You spent how much on tools?! Project farm: Yes.
  • @xenaguy01
I'm actually amazed that 1) The DeWalt bits were so inexpensive, and 2) All the bits were such relatively high quality. There didn't seem to be very big gaps between the best and worst in each category.
  • @MAGAMAN
If you tend to break a lot of bits, the Were may actually come out cheaper in the long run. But, if you are one of those people that tend to lose a lot o bits, get the cheaper ones. I built about 16 feet of shelving in my garage several years ago and I went through my entire collection of Dewalt bits. I installed over 300 screws. I started with phillips screws and quickly switched to torx screws. After breaking all my dewalt torx bits, I bought some mulwaukee bits and was able to finish without any more breaking. So while the Dewalt were cheaper to buy, they cost me time and money in the long run.
