I like how they show the failures as well as the successes. It takes a lot of practice to do this stuff flawlessly. It is not as easy as some make it look.

    並べ切りのときなんか楽しそうでいいな。 武士の時代の稽古の一節を見てるみたいだった。

9:25 blew my mind. He goofed getting his katana entirely out and I thought he'd be slow and weak but dude was a beast!

I like that they show all of the good and the bad during the tournament. It helps demonstrate just how much skill it takes to cut.

I took some iaido classes for a few years and this was pretty accurate. Last hour of class was usually bringing the damp tatami mats out and setting them up for cutting. It might look like a lot of their swings don't have a lot of power behind them, but they do. It's all coming from the lower body like the hips and back. Those smooth casual swings would cut your hands off. Though generally when not cutting Tatami, practice iaito are used.

Seeing the Elders show their skills which I imagine took decades of training was impressive to see.

The sitting position cut was the best part. Really shows who's got the sharper sword, better technique and control.
