I didn't know about that solenoid. I plan on wiring in a Garmin fish finder for navionics mapping and I was so confused on how to run the wires from the batter under the seat...this makes things so much easier as I will also hook up my heater visor to that
  • Great video looks very us full. I use Garmin 64 small unit with. 3.7 inch display this provides far more navigation info like zooms up all turns, distance to next way point, top speed, distances driven, gives excellent step by step navigation. Using the Garmin t90 90 is very good but does not have any where as much capability as the Garmin outdoor Nav units. From a saftey standpoint to be able to zoom in see ahead just how sharp the turn aheadis this really helps at night. Have been using this device for many years. This of course also tell you time diven, top speed, distance driven and time. You can store up to several hundred trips, down load actual trip on your computer. Christopher
  • Good video, I am ordering a new 2022 backcountry and was looking at the new 7.8 display, but after looking into it I decided to not upgrade the display, just wasn't happy with what I saw, looked difficult to use and not overly user friendly. I almost when with a Polaris with there Command Ride display. Would be nice if you could integrate this app into a display on the ski doo. Would the brp go app be able to use the command ride app on it's display.
  • Excellent vid. I just got our new 2022 Grand Touring with the heated cellphone bag. and the premium 7.8" gauge. I had them add the GPS mount with the glovebox extension. So now I need to add a USB power supply for my GPS. I think I would want my GPS to power off when I shut the sled down. Is there any way you can do a tutorial on the wiring of the power supply to the sled or to the solenoid? Also, do you have any links to any connectors etc?

I notice the BRP go ap has a ton of trail maps I'm surprised it doesn't have Ontario

Jessie - Mike - My basecamp won't let me drag the route to another trail like in your example @6:48. I'm using PC no MAC - not that that makes a difference. I tried holding CTRL+left click. Nope. ALT+left click nope. What am I doing wrong? I've reached out to TrakMaps too just in case its on their end?

What mount are you using for the gps?
  • Do you have the link for the Garmin 590? I can't seem to find it on Amazon.

Not worth the extra $$$ for these new fancy guages. Never get it back in the resale and is more miss than hit when your far north.
