Today we are going to bury Pex air line underground so I can have an air compressor in one building and have a shop air system in another building. I do live shows in my shop and can't have an air compressor coming on all the time while I'm filming videos.

I used a Ditch Witch to dig the trench necessary to do this job. I used 1 inch pvc pipe to go from one building to another. I show how to fit the pvc pipe together and to fit it to the buildings neatly. We then push the pex line through the pvc and to the other shop. I then install shop air line system into my shop and install some upgrades to my air compressor.

Well done Jake! Air in a shop is a necessity. Having the compressor in another building is REALLY nice to eliminate the noise. Good job.
  • Jake awesome job on the running of the pipe in the airline my friend. That's a blessing having your air compressor and another building. Where you don't have to hear the noise. Great job love the video. From doug

looks like a pretty nice system. I started using the push-to-connect stuff a few years ago and I'll never turn back.

That last thing you forgot to do is where the wife and daughter would come into play here. Hey they are always wanting to help so jump in, besides I’ve never found a shovel that fits well in my hands.
  • I tried running electricity to my garage up here in Buffalo, NY. Started with a trencher, finished with an excavator, wound up re-landscaping the whole yard. Finished the whole thing, then the wife reminds me we could use water out at the garage too. Nope, just nope.

Looks good Jake i used rapidair kit in my shop and will use it in my next shop. Very easy to use. One thing I would recommend is running a wire in the conduit to help locate it in the future.
  • Awesome job I thought about building a little place outside my shop to due the same thing but also hold my vac system but at the price of lumber right now not sure it would be a good idea 😂
