The hike to Table Rock, Boise Idaho's most iconic hike. A 3.7 mile round trip hike that offers some of the best views of Boise. If you're just visiting and are looking for a quick activity away from the crowds while remaining close to downtown, this hike is perfect for you. And if you live in Boise and still haven't done this hike, what are you waiting for! I was shocked when Chad told me he's never done the actual hike, he's only driven to Table Rock. It's pretty simple to find, and easy to hike. Park at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary and point yourself in the direction of that giant cross overlooking the city! Why is that cross up there? Chad has some history behind the Table Rock cross. Table Rock is a great day hike in Boise that the whole family can enjoy.
