Watching this 180 days evolution has been quite enjoyable and instructive. Once again, I'd like to emphasize that fewer fish, more plants, and sufficient light can prevent algae issues. We should patiently wait without stressing the ecosystem.

Thank you so much for watching this video!

  • This is the most relaxing aquarium setup video I've ever seen. I wonder if we sometimes become too perfectionistic about an ecosystem needing water filters, CO2 systems, various substrates, and chemicals, forgetting about a natural ecosystem like this one.

Man, to have a setup like that, I'd be sitting in front of it for hours peacefully enjoying the simplicity of all the inhabitants of said ecosystem.

Earlier this week after a few months of preparation I finished setting up my first fish tank. I'm applying the same philosophies as you and watching your journey with this thank excites me about the journey I am about to embark on with mine. You were an absolute inspiration in determining what I wanted my fish thank to be and for that I will be eternally grateful.

All my tanks except the external big pond have no filter and Cristal clear water, I still don't understand why people get so amazed with that. As if nature needs an electric filter for its ponds and lakes...
  • @jl644
Tank size and the amount of plants and fish is why no filtration can work. If you have a small tank, it's harder to achieve. But balance between plants and the amount of fish is key.
  • Absolutely beautiful, I look forward to continued updates on this tank and future projects! Keep up the great work.

Such a beautiful video, and very helpful to me as I’m about to set up my first dirted, sand capped, planted ecosystem. This video is so inspiring, encouraging, and full of useful information! It was really helpful that you demonstrated over feeding. Everyone talks about it, but as a beginner, I was really happy to see it shown so clearly. Thank you!!!

This has to be the most beautiful example of a low tech tank
  • @xmanu100
that is the reason most don't use dirted tanks.. we can rescape or mess with the substrate or pull out rooted plants.. also I had big problems with assassin snails they harm smaller nerites and also ram horn snails which eat algae
  • Has demostrado que no hay límites en el Acuarismo, y con paciencia y de la manera más natural se puede tener este hermoso hobby; Felicidades desde México 🇲🇽

Nice informative relaxed video. Kids play sand is a good cheap source of river sand, 15KG for £3. Its not always river sand so read the info on the back. I wash it a few times to get rid of mud and powdery bits of sand. Its labour intensive washng your bodyweight in sand, but its worth it over paying £16 for 7.5KG of sand from aquarium shop.

It keep growing more beautiful. You did a great job on this aquarium. I hope it continues to give you pleasure for many years ahead.

Use soil when you never plan to touch your aquarium again. No uprooting plants, no rebuilds. Just scape and leave it alone aside from some trimming or adding materials
  • Marvellous it felt so good and peaceful while watching them. Love'em bro appreciate your efforts ❤👏

in the left corner you can see internal filter. He said - no filters, no water changes, everything is real in this video. :D :D :D
