Lol the only reason I ride a 29er is because im 6'2" and anything smaller I look like a damn bear on a circus bike! 😅🤣
  • The chainstays being shorter and the hub of the back wheel being closer to the bottom bracket would make a difference I would imagine. Think about it guys (Phu voice) .... if the bottom bracket is further back than the rear wheel hub then you'd loop out because of the center of gravity.

I could Not wheelie before I bought my first big ripper in like 2017 so the 29” did help me learn but now I prefer a 26” blocks Flyer although it is smaller it’s all about brake control like Ethan said and also how max said the 26” is twitchier so easier to pull up and keep up and swerve

Bought this bike two months ago. At first it felt kinda heavy for wheelies but once you get it up is really smooth

Was dying after dude road by with one hand 🤣🤣🤣
  • Full suspension enduro! I can only wheelie on my wife’s bike. It’s an Ibis mojo hd5 27.5, size medium. I normally ride a large.

I thought I’d need a bigger bike for long wheelies but then I got some wheelie pegs on the back of my 20 inch bmx and went for it and realized that i agree with you,It does not matter! My bike came straight up with a pedal and was able to keep it up by tapping the back brake just like any other bike I’ve seen wheelie. Idk how it feels to wheelie on a bigger bike but I’d imagine it’s pretty similar

Max is serious when the chanclas come off…then you got sleeper nappin at the wheel on the 16 like it’s any given Sunday

Width definitely matters ,it helps with balance from side to side leans

  • @RuthIess_
Any tips on how to pop up a heavy ass 26’? My 26 is heavy as fukkkk and I can’t pop it up consistently
  • @magicgundam
When I worked in a shop, I would jump on anything from our little 12-inch kids bikes up to our 29ers and wheelie around the store. Wheel size doesn't matter, but there are aspects of a setup that can make it "easier" to pop up and maintain the wheelie.
