It’s a terrible thing for people to be killed, regardless of who they are. It’s also hard to “trust” what’s being said about people by law enforcement because so many people have been painted as criminals, warrants served (or attempted), and a catastrophe unfolds. Just look at what happened in Little Rock just last month. I’m not sure about this specific situation, but in LR, they showed up at the crack of dawn, in civilian clothes, and performed a no-knock warrant. He wasn’t a hardened criminal, but the director of the Little Rock Airport! To most people, that would for sure seem to be a home invasion; not “the good guys” at your door. I can understand the dangers of the job because I’ve been there. I served 21 years active duty military and did several deployments and wondered if I would make it home. But we’re not forced to do those jobs, we choose them, and the risk that comes with them. Civilians safety and Constitutional Rights are what we “signed up for”, if that’s not important then it’s the wrong job. Condolences to all the people who’ve been affected by this. To the media, you need to start ASKING QUESTIONS, if you’re just going to regurgitate what the government says, we don’t need you.
