Is it really necessary to lap Element optics accu-lite scope rings?? what!!

In this video i do a pretty detailed experiment on my new Tikka T3 CTR 308 and a set of brand new Element Optics Accu-lite scope rings. Results may surprise you 🤔
It would be very interesting to compare the results with other quality scope rings.
What's your experience with lapping or NOT lapping scope rings?

    Should you lap the rings in the exact same place on the rail that they and the scope will exactly sit🤔
