92%ers we are back with another episode of New Heights presented by our friends at Fireball.

In this episode, we are joined by an NFL Hall of Famer, a Tight End legend, and the man better known as “Unc,” Shannon Sharpe.

Shannon talks with the guys about how he first started mentoring Travis, how the secret to Tight End success might be all in the hips, and who is on his Tight End Mt. Rushmore.

We also dive into how Shannon was almost cut from the Broncos, which records he doesn’t think anyone will ever touch, why he’d be putting up “Travis numbers” in the modern NFL, and why he’d swap places with his brother Sterling if given the chance.

Finally, Shannon gives us his thoughts on the vaunted 2000s Raven's defense, if anyone in the NFL would block for Skip Bayless, why LeBron James wouldn’t be a great NFL Tight End, and what advice he’d give his rookie self.

As always, watch and listen to new episodes of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce every Wednesday & check us out on Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok for all the best moments from the show.

  • You can tell Sharpe really admires Travis Kelce's game as an TE. Nothing but praise.
  • @ryanwhite9437
I didn't know Shannon gave his 1st SB ring to Sterling!? To hear him talk about his older brother almost moved me to tears.
  • @PolowReaves
When Shannon said “Don’t come this way” when talking about blocking made me bust out laughing 😂😂
  • Sterling and Jason are some great big brothers. Its awesome to see and hear the love and respect Shannon and Travis have for their brothers
  • Shannon's advice to his rookie self was so deep and meaningful.
  • @golurk9521
Man you can just feel the respect Travis has for Shannon. This was a phenomenal episode.

This was a great episode. No messy gossip , wasn’t talking over each other, and they talked FOOTBALL. loved it
  • @Nick-vs6qv
Every high school and college coach should be recommending this episode to their players, it's filled with great football knowledge and life lessons with alot of humor.
  • @jenna4628
Shannon Sharpe is a GEM. This may be my favorite episode and I feel like Shannon's advice can help people in everyday life, not just football.
  • @GatBlackistan
10/10 episode. I thought Shannon would take over this interview but my man Jason absolutely held it down. It's crazy to see how much better he's gotten since the first episode of New Heights. The Big Yeti is always great in the room but JK ran that ship like Captain Kirk. And of course, Unc was Unc. Loved every minute of it.
  • @ralami6183
Unc is the prime example of a OG also I appreciate how Jason wants to talk about his brothers success and how he can get better. Thanks for the episode fellas!
  • After hearing Shannon’s advice to his younger self I would love to see both him and his brother on an episode. Shannon speaks of his brother the way Travis speaks of Jason and there’s nothing more wholesome then that 🥹
  • There's a reason Shannon was able to slide from sports into entrainment and maintain the respect he does. It's the same reason New Heights is kicking off. A healthy level of earnestness and honesty. Hands down one of the best episodes yet! All the respect to everyone involved. This was gold.

I’m going back and watching all the episodes from the beginning and so far this is my favorite guest. Shannon is so knowledgeable, kind, and supportive.
  • @davidchaplin6884
Best episode for me,,all football.... 3 men just talking about the game they love,it is literally like an uncle telling his nephews all his old ball stories.
  • @ji-inroh495
Unc is so secure with himself and not afraid to layer on the praise. Great interview guys.
  • @Nub310
Unc hitting the “New NEWS” phrase is legendary 😂
  • 24:50 This was an incredible moment to watch. The look on Trav's face when Unc said that Travis Kelce is basically the greatest TE ever, I can't imagine that feeling
  • @ydzi7537
This is genius conversation. I love when people who are experts in their field, discuss their craft with passion.
