37:18 Leader of Killer Ink: "I'm gonna win" Meggy: "Hold my weapon" I didn't expect that this one would literally happen

The best detail in this entire movie by far is that Callie and Marie didn't immediately leave after telling Meggy that the Ink Brigade cheated, they stayed the entire scene and participated in one of debatably Meggy's most emotional moments. It shows almost better than the games do that Callie and Marie are more than just idol singers, they're passionate girls who legitimately care about their community in Inkopolis. They also talked with enthusiasm as if they themselves believed Meggy could win without outright saying it and I think that's so sweet.

God damn, when Desti said "Let me make it easier for you" and hugged Meggy. That was the most beautiful heart tugging moment I've ever seen in an SMG4 video. Let alone a YouTube video in general. Luke, Kevin you have once again outdone yourselves. This was beautiful. Keep doing what you do.

Something i realized: The anime arc technically wasn't over just yet after final hours came to a close. the aftermath videos was part 3 of the arc, with meggys destiny ending not just the anime arc, but the splatfest saga as a whole. Now that Meggy has fully moved on from her PTSD, and desti rested in the afterlife. A new story can begin...

February 29 2020: Watching Meggy's Destiny as Teenager (16 Years Old) February 29 2024: Rewatching Meggy's Destiny as Adult (20 Years Old) I Guess This is Emotional Movie for Meggy Spletzer Also Rewatching to Weird Seeing Old Designs Again. One of Best Movies Ever! 10/10
