ABOUT:
Hello friends! Welcome to my shed. The Daily Shed is a daily (Mon-Fri) talk show and vlog that I produce in my shed. Each day, I pick a topic to discuss, and spend about 10 minutes on the subject. Then we talk about it in the comments! Thanks for checking out the show! - Chevee

  • Knowing the signs, learning how to deal with them and continuing to talk to people about it is the best thing you can do. Never be ashamed to get help when you feel overwhelmed. Like you Cheeve, I've lived with depression all my life and ride out the ups and downs that go with it. Its made me a stronger person. Keep talking, keep sharing, keep aware and you,ll be good. I'm always here to listen. Good things are coming. xx
  • I've been dealing with some depression/anxiety lately as well. I often feel like I'm drowning in my own thoughts and fears. I tend to turtle up and not want to deal with the world, which doesn't work for my job or my family. I'm trying to do better, though. Having goals and projects to work on helps, but I then tend to get too much on my plate, and swing in the opposite direction of having too much to do and turtling up and not wanting to deal with it. And finding balance while dealing with those feelings makes things that much more complicated. As always, it helps knowing someone else out there is dealing with similar issues and still carrying on. I have those moments of existential despair, and it's difficult to see what's actually around me in those times, the blessings of family and employment and the joy of doing things that I love to do. Thanks for sharing. Take care of yourself, friend, and if you ever need an ear, don't hesitate to email or DM or whatever you need. I'm horrible about reaching out, but I'm good at listening.

Thank you Chevee...I know how crappy it can be sometimes, I am not really firing on all cylinders atm either. It takes a lot out of you to do stuff and I appreciate your effort. Yes Agave is a type of Cacti.
  • Also... were you aware that Darth Vader had visited you in the Shed?...listen...
