  • Meanwhile texas insurance companies canceling everyone hurricane insurance as im typing. 💀😭
  • As a Floridian I am always ready for hurricane season. Just a huge tip for new people to Hurricane season. Stock up on your medication and buy a good first aid kit. Do not skimp on the quality of the first aid kit.

Southwest Louisiana here- as soon as you said 2020, I felt sick to my stomach!!! I swear I have ptsd when it comes to 2020 in general, but our area got hit BACK TO BACK with hurricane Laura and hurricane Delta. No water for a month and no electricity for over 3 months!!! It was traumatizing for all who live in this area! So I vote that we SKIP hurricane season this year 🫣

Just a quick shoutout to Ryan and the whole Y’all crew. The fact that you can raise almost $200k in just a 3 day timespan and NOT use a cent of it to pay bills and upkeep, is a feat in and of itself. The world needs a lot more people like you my friend. The shear cost to do what you do is higher than most could begin to imagine and to do it without ads is honestly something truly special. While I am just 1 subscriber, 1 voice in a sea of voices, and what I have to say matters very little in the grand scheme of things. I just wanted to personally thank you for everything you do. I personally feel you all are one of our countries unsung heroes. You will probably never know how many lives y’all have saved both before and after these storms.

BTW…. I donated $$ to Y’all Squad …. I’m not telling you this for a pat on the back I’m telling you this to encourage everyone to give a few dollars to a very very worthy and beautiful cause, helping our fellow human beings in their time of need! Thank you Ryan for doing all this, thank you thank you thank you.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
  • @Og-Judy
Was watching reports about allvthe Tornado stuff in Sulphur OK and I saw many say they were watching Ryan Hall Y'all and took shelter. Definitely saving lives. Sulphur is devastated reminds me of the devastation they had in Mayfield KY. 💔😢🙏🙏🙏🙏
  • My favorite thing about your channel is the fact that you don’t go fear based. You are info based! ❤
  • @LiLScoggs08
Ryan is the GOAT when it comes to clear and calm weather reporting. Thank you Ryan!
  • I'm a 65-year-old woman. I've lived most of that, but not all, of that in Louisiana. As a child and young teenager we lived in South Louisiana but later moved to Northwestern Louisiana. My earliest memories of hurricanes if of Hurricane Camille and the unbelievable damage she did. I am VERY thankful that I have found a Weather Channel that I can rely on for reliable and detailed Weather coverage. With Hurricane Season almost upon us, you're Channel is not just a blessing but also a Life-line. The love, fascination and respect you have for weather shows through in every video (of yours) that I have watched. Thank you to you and all those who work with you. And Thank you to your wife and young family for sharing you with those of us who need you.
  • @Ready2_Go
Oh yay. After 106 tornadoes in 3 days, we get hurricane season around the corner. Everyone pray for a quieting.
  • @ebayerr
I was born and raised in New Orleans. And every year there's talk of "how bad the Hurricane season" is going to be. And in the last twenty years none has been as bad as Katrina.
  • @megatruth2546
I lived on a barrier island which turned out to the worst place for both Frances and Jeanne. Evacuated and will never forget the unbelievable devastation when I drove back onto the island X 2. Took years for the area to recover. Those that chose to not evacuate said they spent many hours terrified and would never remain for another hurricane when evacuation was recommended.
  • @margieryne6220
If they’re anything like tornadoes this year, WATCH OUT!!
  • @Jim-be8sj
I work in the atmospheric sciences department at CSU. We've got GOES satellite imagery of hurricanes all over the walls of my building. I call it "storm porn." LOL
  • @derek6460
I speak for all of New Orleans when i say..."don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby."
  • @goodoakpress
I'm not surprised. La Nina's tend to be bad for hurricanes. I live in north Texas. If a hurricane comes ashore in the gulf it can still be a tropical storm this far north. That means it would be profoundly devastating to those along the coast.
  • @leannemccumber
I’m a native Floridian but I live in Texas a little way from the Coastal Bend. We survived Cat 4 Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Please let’s not have any more drama here this year!!
  • "You're going to have a lot of time to prepare for a hurricane coming for your area." Unless it's Hurricane Ian and you're near Ft. Myers/Port Charlotte. Then you were in the cone of probability less than 72 hours in advance of landfall with no gas up I-75 to escape. That shit was supposed to land 4 1/2 hours away from here as a Category 1. But nope, we took a direct hit with less than 72 hours warning by a Category 5 with no choice but to shelter in place.
