I no longer watch football. Also, I called my sister and explained CTE to her so that she was aware of what her son was getting into in little league football
-
Anybody here after watching Concussion? haha..
-
Maybe the reason this is getting worse is Because All of the Orthopedic injuries like knee, Achilles Tendon, Spine, etc. that formerly ended their careers are NOW only causing Season-ending injuries Due to better surgery and Rehabilitation. So they play ten-fifteen years and get Many More Hits-hence more concussions.

Breaks my heart . Blessings to you

Football is going to be over in 30 years. Parents are not going to let their kids play the game.

Im scared. I played football hockey and lacrosse growing up. Suffered a few concussions in the military. Had a concussion in a car accident. Headbanger to music as a kid. I'm 27. I'm worried.

This is so sad. He had to think hard about words starting with ‘B’.

ever since my concussions i have had seizures, vomiting, fatigued, headaches, cognitive problems, i cant hold a job. i need to know how to spot tau protein.
-
These two examples are why kids should NOT be allowed to play tackle football until 14 or 15 or even then.

THC seems to be working... now if there's one thing the NFL gives a 4 week suspension to: it's weed/THC.
-
That's what I do every day. I need to start reading books again.

I have had hundreds of concussions. I fight the demons as well. I loved playing football. Used ny helmet to attack
-
Not just NFL players.
-
A simple change in-game rule of removing helmets like rugby could drastically reduce the no. of concussions
-
The saddest thing is in 2020 the NFL is as big and strong as ever. Hopefully in 20 years that will change because parents will put their sons in other sports that won't cause CTE.
-
Tackle less, bump into each other more may help to prevent cte.

He is my great uncle

You have to be taking care of with love.
-
The one thing I don't agree on its when he said "we made billions/millions for them", we are entitle to be taking care of forever.

Viewing this of an NFL issue is a mistake. Head injuries sustained in grade school, high school or college sports can cause just as much damage.
