    I had a partial knee done almost 20 yrs ago. . Now I have worn it out. My ortho says I now need a full replacement done. I have heard all kinds of horror stories about revision. Please reasure me.

    I just turned 77 and pain on my knees especially the left one are starting to be unbearable. Thanks for this well-put educating video. I've learned a lot.   • I know you said that rheumatoid arthritis generally get a total knee. I have psoriatic arthritis and would like to know if a total knee replacement is possible .

    Would a partial knee replacement be considered if two of the compartments were arthritic (for me, it’s the medial and patella), but the other compartment (lateral) is in perfect condition according to my surgeon? I have seen a few photos of dual partials, and even one where the medial and patella parts were a single piece instead of two. I believe my knee wore out because of a meniscus tear when I was young. I’m 58 now.
