I am gutted by all the negative comments regarding her voice. She had Lymes disease which attacked her vocal cords and had to have surgery. At least she sang live and knew her capabilities and sang the chorus a couple of octaves lower in order to perform otherwise you’d all be bitching she was miming, I’d rather she sung live in a key that is comfortable to her. I don’t see one unhappy customer in the audience?? They’re rocking along with her . Just look at her? 58! And still rocking! I’ve been a fan of hers for almost 30 years and my loyalty has never waivered. You go girl! LONG LIVE SHANIA!!! ❤️

I was there in the crowd. She was iconic. Sounded incredible with 100,000 people singing with her.

Love that she's found a way to make her voice work on these songs after what she's been through. She still looks amazing. Good on her.

The way she sang actually complimented the crowd due to how loud they were.
  • Out of all Glastonbury 2024 videos I've seen so far this crowd is the most energized
  • She tried her best despite her health issues in the past which have massively affected her wonderful voice, and at least she's not miming. I am a big fan but not deaf: her voice has massively changed and I am afraid not for the better. Still, the crowds love her.
  • I saw her live in Birmingham last September and her performance and voice is phenomenal. Best show I have ever been to, she will always be my favourite singer.

Say what you want, but this women was hammering it back in the day. Incredible talent and work ethic.
  • UK!! Glastonbury!!! Damn you're all so lucky to have Shania, a Canadian legend, perform for you!!!
  • The True Talent of an Artist is to accept your limitations as you mature and adapt. No miming here , just a talented vocalist and performer singing a Harmony (accurately) and delivering a memorable performance

Wow! So much fun,all those women having such a great time. Rock on Shania.

People are so mean she’s a legend and nearly died we are lucky she’s still killing it on stage and doesn’t lip sync ever!!!!!!!!! All that matters is the crowd who obviously enjoyed it and her fans!! Plus as you age you need to turn it down she’s been singing this song for years her Change of key is so smart a lot more should do it it’s good for the voice and by doing that she will be able to tour for ages more ❤

every man feels like a woman during this song, no matter what anyone says

To all you self-imposing critics: When was the last time you drew A CROWD LIKE THIS!!!!!!
  • Just appreciate the fact that she made the choice and efforts to be back on stage singing live for us fans after all that she’s been through. That’s dedication. She could have simply chosen to retire and leave us with the memories and recordings. But she chose the stage and us. If you still have anything to complain about it’s really your problem.
  • Fuck the haters. Go write a song, sing it live, survive surgery and come back and be this FABULOUS.

I've seen lot of stuff about Shania's voice and how "it isn't same", and you'd be right, it's not the same. But, you wouldn't sound the same either if you're almost 60, had Lyme's disease, and several throat and vocal cord surgeries to restore your singing voice. You cannot go to a Shania Twain concert in 2024 and expect to see and hear the Shania Twain that was around in 2003. If that's your expectation, then stay home and watch the Come on Over or Up! Live concert DVD's. I think for everything Shania has been through, the fact she can even sing at all is nothing short of incredible.
