Tough debut for Quincy. It’s been an incredibly long season for a high schooler. I have no doubt he’ll be back in the next Olympic cycle. This experience will make him even more terrifying than he would be otherwise.

No harm, no foul. At 16 years old. He learned the biggest lesson of his life today about teamwork and what it's like being on the biggest stage in athletics. He is a child literally running with mankind's top rung of athleticism.

Vernon Norwood with a 43.54 split - I think that’s a lifetime best for him! At Age 31 -he deserves to be in the lineup for the final more than anyone not named Quincy Hall.

Christopher Bailey saved the US, incredible leg
  • Quincy will definitely be in the next Olympics held in LA I know everybody at his high school gotta be eyes wide rooting for him
  • @ripbbgaming2790
Vernon, kudos you're a CLASS ACT! 👑 You saved the US team with your "43.60" second leg of that race. That time would have earned YOU a bronze medal in that regular 400m Olympic race. Wow!! And you gave Quincy some compliments after his debut. NOW, let's go get that GOLD!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Im so thankful. USA got to 3rd. let's all be kind to our young Qunicy, that is 16. Most of us here could be his parents. Let's send love and encouragement his way. We do not criticize children, please!!
  • @at5mics
His nerves really got to him. He just ran a 44.2 a few weeks ago, so he no doubt has the speed to compete.
  • What a courageous young man who will only improve with time. I have 16-year old high school students who can't make it to class on time. What a victory for him and for Team USA!

Yoooooo. Can you freaking imagine the tyoe of confidence this kid will have going into his freaking JUNIOR year this year?!?!?! Hes gonna do some special things!
  • @carnebie
Starting a 16 year old is a bit of a flex.

We are so PROUD of you Quincy!!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🌎

Second. As great as it was letting Quincy Wilson make his debut.... he really put USA in a rough position.

Tough leg for Quincy, first leg in a 4x4 is the hardest leg and it’s at the Olympics and he probably got psyched out by Tebogo running an incredible leg. But this is great for him to realize how much further he has to go. We know he can run 44 low already it’s just going to take time and confidence to get more consistent!
  • @fistandpen2505
Today the veterans carried the kid but one day soon he'll be the hero finishing up for us in the same way. Congrats Qunicy Wilson and team. Go USA!
  • @normar3263
Good job guys, Quincy was not ready for this big show, glad you got it
  • First off congratulations to Quincy for making his Olympic debut. Smart decision putting him on 1st leg, knowing you have veterans on the next 3 legs that have the experience to comeback. Not the debut that Quincy was hoping for but its a GREAT learning lesson. Remember he is still 16 years old, going to be a Junior in high school, still has SO MUCH to learn and fine tune his skills. This will be a moment edge into his memory, I have no doubt if he continues on this path, we'll see him again.
  • I think Quincy did good all things considering. He's 16, and a lot of these men have been training for YEARS. He'll only get better.
  • @KmKryptonian
Very tough run for Quincy but he’s only gonna get better. He is absolutely the future!
