It has become like the days of Noah.
Jesus never spoke of a rapture. Instead he gave us some common sense signals to watch for, the number one signal being the “falling away”, or apostasy, which is the loss of faith in any God.
This has led to the nihilism which drives mankind to a depraved, dystopian state of self-destruction. It is the psychotic breaking of the collective. Ultimately this would lead to utter self destruction, except that the survival instinct of man requires a purpose for living. If the first purpose is lost, a new purpose must be created. When man realizes there is no God “out there,” he must then become his own god to preserve himself.
Only a very few realize that God is found at the center of being, at the center of reality, and can only be discovered by seeing the evidence in principle.
