This sound is a huge part of Spanish music, but also can be found in lots of folk, classical, rock, jazz, etc. There's something about the way it starts with a half step that instantly distinguishes it from other modes. My aim here is to introduce you to it and learn some simple ways to play it without getting into too much technical detail.
