Join me on one of the world’s best first class flights on Singapore Airlines A380 Suites. It’s really in a class of it’s own, and by SQ’s own admission, it’s beyond First Class (I reviewed their Boeing 777 earlier this year). As with all my trip reports, I’ll take you through each step of the journey. From check in, the lounge offers and then onboard. What the food is like, and of course the bed! In fact there are two bed options today on the A380, a single or double!

As always I’ll give you my honest opinion to what it’s like to fly in one of the most luxurious flights within commercial aviation.

I had no idea they do NYC apartments on planes now, that’s really cool.
  • @NonstopDan
So glad we got to experience this together Will! Loved sharing reflections and geeking out over how awesome the flight was😂

Ive been flying SQ for 40+ years. Hands down the best airline in the world. Great video mate. Booked my suites trip from JFK yesterday. Wish it was for tomorrow!

Fun fact: on the Boeing 747, the original intent of the hump was to install a large cocktail bar with seating area but most airlines used it to make first class very private. So I find it no surprise they are doing with with their A380. The last time I flew Singapore, the upper deck of the 747-400 was used for a premium business class. It was quite luxurious and kids got a cool jigsaw puzzle picture of the plane with the amenities kit. I liked the orange juice they gave before takeoff, it was perfect: not too sweet or sour.

Basically an entire office just for yourself, that's insane

I’ve been binge watching your videos as I’ve been off work with a dislocated elbow. As someone that’s worked in the travel industry I’ve really enjoyed the videos, I can’t work out if I’ve fallen a little bit in love with you or your lifestyle and travels, either way thanks for the entertainment Will 👍🏻

I love watching these videos but know I would never experience this quality. Good for him to figure all this out on his own. When he points out these small problems he's speaking to the 1% of us. I'm happy to have a window seat in coach class with no one next to me... And this is when I often fly from JFK to Haneda, Japan, 13 hours.

It looks very nice. Although I feel like most of the space just sits empty and unused! I think they should've put in a larger bed

You and Dan - my two favorite airline reviewers. Amazing coincidence that you guys crossed paths! It's really a small world.
  • In college I used to fly nonstop from SFO - SQ to visit my family a few times a year. Still my favorite airline/route ever.
  • @Paulhilvert
I have really enjoyed watching your long rail journeys, but I’m not going to lie! I’m here for the aviation and I’m so glad you’ve come up with this one and I’m more then happy it’s Singapore Airlines, loved it 👏 👏 😃
  • @FlightHacks
Smashed it! The size of these cabins really is ridiculous
  • @fridayschild19
I absolutely loved watching this video! It was a thrill to see you and Nonstop Dan on the same flight! You are both two of my favorite vloggers!
  • What a plane! What an experience! What a review! This was amazing. Although I would say the service may not be quite Airfrance level, that is a truly unique flight experience. Thank you for sharing it!

Man; after serving 3 kids mac and cheese and hotdogs for years, I'd probably cry actually flying and having someone serve me! I love watching your videos, and pretending that I'm flying along, possibly on a way to a well deserved vacation. Hope springs eternal ;)
  • I priced the JFK-FRA round trip in SQ Suites -- nearly US$15,000. A one-way is over $9K itself, so, for economy's sake, it looks like I"ll just have to suffer through a return, Trek T.! Thanks for the review. I've flown SQ transpacitic in Business and Coach several times. (LAX-NRT/NRT-SIN/SIN-DEL/PVG-SIN, SIN-NRT-LAX and HKG-SFO.) It is a nice product wherever onboard you're seated, and you're right about that wonderful chicken satay on skewers. Cheers, and thanks for making a night of great travel viewing for me!
  • I literally just binged all your videos in 3 days and I dont regret one second of it
  • @TL-Sneax
This is as close as I'll ever get to flying first class. Thanks for sharing the experience!

I remember being stuck in Frankfurt Airport for an entire day, and I thought I’d mostly forgotten all about it until I saw the beginning of this video and it brought it all back.
  • Dude! What an awesome video! Thank you so much to everyone involved in that and you weren’t kidding about those Singapore Airlines foods, man… So beautiful and so much… What a blessing! I’m really glad you had a great time on that trip and thank you for taking us along for the ride @Trek Trendy & @Squarespace! Joyful fun and peaceful blessings to all!!! 🤟🏽🍓🤓🪶💗🤩🥳💐🎂🦉😇
