I don't agree with your analysis about Adrien Rabiot. Too often we put players who are coming to the end of their career on big wages and then have trouble moving them on. We should look at youth and integrate them slowly. If we are not under pressure to finish top 4 and win the league, why bring in experience when we have hungry youth players.

Thing that concerns me about signing Rabiot is if there's any drama caused if he doesn't start every week. He's a good squad option as he can play basically across the whole midfield so he'll be very useful cover but the potential of it bringing toxicity would worry me.

My main concern about new players coming in on big wages, is that Bruno should not get shafted in the process. Whilst I wouldn't necessarily give Bruno everything he is asking for, there is definitely a case for improving his contract terms and wages to reflect his worth and keep him motivated.
