  • Thanks for spreading the word about SIBO, this was my final missing piece to get my IBS under control!
  • Hi Alyssa, this is all new to me. I'm seeing a gastroentegologist this week. I hope they find what I have, it's been going on for about 6 months and getting worse. Symptoms are extreme bloating (looks like 9 months pregnant), shortness of breath (bloating pushing on my lungs), skin problems, and I gained about 20 pounds. Thanks for sharing your story!

Make sure your sibo breath test is for hydrogen and methane, three hours, and use the lactoluse solution. If you just test for hydrogen you could be missing the other gas. Also, the lactoluse solution checks for overgrowth in the entire small intestine. The hydrogen breath test only test the first 2-3 feet. So, a diagnosis could be missed! Hope you feel better soon!
