This is just amazing. One minute I'm sitting at my kitchen table in the American midwest thinking "i wonder how igloos are actually made". Next minute I'm watching this video. What a time to be alive
-
Lol the boy breaks the snow block "it can be really warm, several degrees above freezing" lol
-
I like the noise of it when he cuts the snow.. the squeaking sounds haha
-
That's some skill he's got there; I can't even build a perfect looking house in minecraft alone :/
-
I hope these skills are never lost.
-
I like how at the end he says "It can be very warm! Several degrees above freezing! =P
-
Aside from the amazing content showcasing this brilliant skill, I love how the snow sounds are so vivid in this video. It’s so evocative like you can really feel yourself stepping into that hard compact snow.
-
The most snow I'v ever had where I live (North England) is about 10 inches... me and some friends built an igloo.... but had to do it by making the bricks using boxes, compact the snow in the box and tip it out. Took ages, but it had 2 floors!
-
Imagine people have to do this instead of watching tv.
-
highly impressive. That was the first time for me to see one built.......wow
-
Now I know how they get styrofoam... THE SOUND!!!!!!!!!
-
i like it, but i think that completing the top part is quite difficult.
-
This is awesome. Working with your hands and hard work, teaching your children how to do so without putting too much pressure on them..... this kid was so attentive and fascinated with dad's skills even had some fun.... being recognized as the head of home comes naturally this way. kids respect you, wife respects you, etc.
-
So awesome seeing how my people have been making these for thousands of year
-
Human resilience and creativity!❤
-
Omg the sound is so satisfying lol
-
Amazing. Such an incredibly patient skill to have.
-
The Sound of the snow creates A decent ASMR video. Also I find it beyond cool & genius to be able to do that
-
Thank you so much!! This is wonderful to see
