This is a painting of a commercial fishing boat heading out to fill its holds, appropriately titled, "Heading Out". Heh...I know...so clever of me.

Various artists' grade watercolor paint brands were used from one of my "regular" palettes made from an old China plate that I got from Goodwill.

The paper is Blick Premier 140lb. cold press cotton watercolor paper.

I put a protective coat of matte polyurethane varnish over the dried watercolor paint (after spraying a light coat of fixative).
