I'm an English teacher and my student asked me to analyse the lyrics of this song. As per usual, I opened youtube for us to watch the music video, and he advised me it was sad and I might cry. I thought he was being dramatic, but I cried in class. Humbling

I guess I’m one of the few who didn’t cry but smiled throughout the video. The wonderful twist in the video warmed my heart. The dog was never truly alone…she was always well loved. It’s my hope that we can all be just as fortunate as Willow.

I have a service dog as a result of multiple Army funded vacations...he's a boxer and his name is Winston, the only thing that weighs heavier on my heart than the thought of the morning that comes when he's no longer here with me is the thought of the morning that comes for him that I am no longer here for him...beautiful song, masterpiece of a message and video...
