People who find these sketches controversial need to get personalities and lives
  • “Word Association” became my most favorite controversial SNL sketch. Richard Pryor, may he rest in peace…
  • @brandonjones8059
lol some of the current SNL viewers would lose their mind at some of the stuff they got away with on MadTV
  • "Gonna get me a shotgun" is my favorite SNL sketch lol. Hell most of these are the funniest skits they did

Wow. As a kid of the 70's and 80's, it pains me to see how seriously we all take ourselves. Nothing wrong with being able to laugh at yourself.

VerQuonica... "Why she asked for a tea, and she wanted a latte" " That's stupid" had me rolling 😂 😂
  • @Ritapita73
As a (now former) Mormon, the Jesus sketch had me rolling, even when I was a full believer. Now, it's even better.

There's no such thing as an appropriate joke, that's what makes it a joke - Michael Scott

As a past H addict, clean since 2018, I can wholeheartedly say the H AM commercial was very funny. No ill will whatsoever because it does break down how bad it is for people. It wasn't glorifying it in any way. Some people really just need to get the knot out of their underwear and relax.

I LOVED THE WORD ASSOCIATION. SAW IT AS A KID AND STILL LOVE IT.
  • @bubwal23xifan
Richard Pryor and Chevy Chase nailed this skit. Its perfectly done. It couldn't be done today, but Blazing Saddles would be banned from being shown in theaters if it was attempted to be released today. Too many people in this country just want to be offended by every little thing
  • @randyhamm3862
People need to remember that it's just a joke you don't need to be offended by everything
  • “Uncle Roy” sketches with Buck Henry has to be the most controversial ones of the old-school Saturday Night Live
  • @kevinogracia1615
This reflects comedy's job. We throw up a mirror and make fun of our foibles. Laughter is the bell that tells us we have a soul. (Don't quote me on that) Peace on earth.

Note that Gilda Radner who played the patient, died of ovarian cancer. 😌 RIP
