After watching a couple of these videos, I sure haven't been convinced to ever rip a card should I get one...
  • @altonT
RIP to Brooks Robinson. One of the greatest.
  • @thecardaddict
Topps did a good job to make this a fun set for this year, but should have created better odds for actual parallels in the rip cards.

R.I.P. Mr. Oriole... My dad took me to my first Oriole's game in 1985. It was opening day, and Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, and Boog Powell were there. I actually got to shake hands with Brooks and Frank! It is still my favorite memory with my dad. R.I.P. Brooks! You were truly great! Thanks for the video, Jabs! 🙏

pulled a 1/10 ron santo rip card... stuck a magnet too it.. inside was a Arod metal mini

I pulled a George Brett /99 rip card and got a mini Rickey Henderson out of it. Should’ve sold it instead.
  • @Bigherc187
I mean you could always use a razor blade slice the side and have the mini fall out... Actually Keep the integrity of the original vs. Just ripping it down the middle ruining it.

I’m pretty new to baseball and collecting, i like the RIP cards but seems it would be more worth to sell them I ripped and let someone else open it. I’ve not seen really anything come out of them when opened that seems worth it. Don’t think I’ll be getting into ripping them. Excited to grab a couple boxes from my local store of the A&G though to check ‘‘em out - I like the look of the cards
  • I think they call them RIP cards because it's almost always a rip off. I don't like this whole business of having to destroy something, especially since what you get is almost never better.
  • @GymAndSun
It’s been a year since this video last year?! Time flies…
  • @joeschmoe2011
You could almost sell a double rip and buy whatever auto you wanted.
  • I would have sold the Judge/Goldschmidt or Deion Sanders/Acuna Jr. card if it were mine, because I would most likely not have resisted the temptation to rip either for long, or cope with the disappointment. Thanks for sharing this tough video.

Tough to watch. basically just tearing up hundred dollar bills.....only hit is a comedian no ones ever heard of. I agree just sell them unripped and buy the auto you want, let someone else take the risk.

Weirdo Card needs to be made into the official insert card name. "We got a Gold Weirdo out of 50 here!"
