“He drove a segway off a cliff, and he died” This shit was unexpectedly expected
  • I love how this guy rates a tech fail that could have started a war 8/10 while rating a buggy video game 9/10

I think it's worth noting that Quibi's major marketing angle was that it provided content for on the go, and it debuted during the height of the pandemic when people weren't exactly "going" a lot.

I have no idea how you’d think having an AI learn from Twitter of all places would end any other way tbh

'More and more, we are consuming content in shorter bursts' Everyone watching the 20 minute video:

Tay: trying to start a racial war The internet: We raised that kid.

The biggest issue with Stadia was the decision to sell games again for Stadia as for yet another game console. GFN proves that technical issues, like obvious response lag, are not deal breakers.

The fact that Arun's editor accidently pre-ordered 2 of the Cybertrucks is funny
  • @shelliehart1819
I liked how he doesn’t dwell on things. Fast and packed content. Clever. Audience engaging. It did not feel like a 26 minute video, and I skipped through none of it to “get to the content”

Tay was hilarious and a great example of "this is why we can't have nice things"
  • I was in Hawaii when this happened. We all thought we were gonna die. I’ve heard some ppl committed suicide. I took my car and drove 100mph through Hilo and got to volcano when the update came. It was a massive cover up there’s a lot of speculation abt wether any the excuses they made were true.

Some of these demos remind me of being in the Keynote audience at Spring 98 Comdex. Bill Gates was bragging on how great plug and play was and Windows 98 blue-screened him.

Tay wasn't a mistake, she was taken from this world far, far to soon! She was a magnificent example of how we destroy everything. Also yeah, a fairly good A.I warning.

"It could start a war." Arun: Cyberpunk is worse.
  • @DevvonO
I just got to say you’re real generous and nice when it comes to the ratings on some of these things that should be rated a lot worse with all of your videos
  • @TheDoubleg94
Whenever you do a live demo (especially of a product that isn't yet released) there's a chance things will go wrong. It's not really a sign that the tech is bad, but rather that it's not done yet.

I live In hawaii and I remember getting the alert and being like, “better finish my Netflix episode before I die”
  • @SuiSlyder808
“Imagine your worry if you saw this message pop up on your phone” Oh don’t worry... I didn’t have to imagine that one...
