There's this species of lizard that is literally exactly like a dinosaur. Even though it's a deadly creature.. I decided to build it a home and keep it as a pet. By the end of the video I find out if dinosaurs are actually good pets. The species is a Frilled Dragon

If I used any of your copyrighted material in the video and you are not okay with it, please contact me on my business email found in my channel's description so we can reach an agreement.

I used a solid amount of footage from the YouTuber "Tommy's Reptiles" so go check his channel out he makes awesome videos about frilled dragons. I also used some content from EitiKipok, James Fisher, Storyful News & Weather, Nat Geo WILD, and Love Nature.

Thanks for watching and please subscribe

What’s the better pet: a dinosaur, or a walking fish? Subscribe
  • i really appreciate that you didn’t force the little guy through any unnecessary stress to get him to show off his neck frill! thank you, and mr prehistoric is pretty awesome
  • Excellent enclosure for you frilled dragon. You are lucky that it is so friendly. You will enjoy your little dinosaur. Mom was surprised about the cost. But she really liked your dragon. Have a nice day. Cindy

I think it's adorable when it's a baby! Additionally, I adore the effort you took to create this adorable tiny home; fantastic work.

You should call him Snuffles. He’s probably very chill around humans because he’s domesticated and use to humans.

Fun fact: dilophosaur didn’t have frills, the creators of the Jurassic park movie just saw a frilled lizard and thought “that’s fuckin sick”

a walking fish is so sick, and the dinosaur is so fire I LOVE watching your videos! I have had a pet crayfish for 2 days after I saved its life from dying and i fed her minnows and mealworms and other bugs and stuff and i feed her 2 times a day and It WOULD BE SO SICK if you made a vid about getting one! anyway, your video was excellent 10/10 keep it up and don't listen to the haters who make fun of you for getting plants from Walmart lol keep up the fire content bro
  • It’s basically a Dilophosaurus except it doesn’t spit acids at you….it just has frails and sits there MENACINGLY
  • Cool animal, few things to note though, frilled dragons often get put in too high of humidity, the Australian ones live in arid areas and tropical grasslands and scrubland, never let humidity exceed 75% for Australian frilled dragons(50-70% is good, the upper ends would only be reached periodically in the rainy season) if you do respiratory illness will quickly follow. your little dragon wont stay small for long and the Australian frilled dragons can exceed 90cm in length (larger than he PNG ones) they are voracious, also in the wild I've always found they prefer vertical trees and stumps, so give him some of those, they like to shimmy around them to get out of sight
  • I never watched this channel before, but I love it. ITS SO FUNNY 😄😄

Except evolved into a lizard. More like devolved, but hey, if they didn't devolve, then we would be dead
  • thank you for not forcing him to show the neck frill for clout <3

THIS DUDE IS THE PURE DEFINITION OF SAYING, MY PET DOESN’T BITE 😊
  • Get him really used to you!! That would be amazing to be able to freely handle him when he’s full grown. You’d have your own guard lizard.
