Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder and Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury fought to a split-decision draw in their epic SHOWTIME PPV title fight on December 1, 2018 in front of almost 20,000 fans at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) miraculously overcame two knockdowns by Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KOs) — including an explosive one in the final round — in the improbable draw, which was the first heavyweight title pay-per-view bout in America since 2002. The judges scored the bout 115-111 for Wilder, 114-112 for Fury and 113-113.
“I think with the two knockdowns I definitely won the fight,” said Wilder, who has recorded a knockdown in each of his 41 pro fights and was defending his WBC belt for the eighth time since 2015. “We poured our hearts out tonight. We’re both warriors, but with those two drops I think I won the fight.”

In that whole 9 count, fury had 3 anime episodes worth of flashbacks of his training and friends he made along the way who are rooting for him.

1st fight was amazing 2nd fight was unbelievable 3rd fight was a classic This trilogy will go down in history
-
That knockdown by Wilder is crazy every time I see it and seeing Tyson Fury get up from it is even crazier
-
That embrace at the end... Between two people that have done/experienced something that only the smallest fraction of people on the planet have...

I just want to thank whoever is responsible for me being able to watch this fight easily. Thank you, you are a humanitarian.

One of the Best Fights of All Time!
-
One of the greatest boxing matches of all time. Wilder 40-0 39KO was on top of the world coming into this fight. He'd never seen anything like Fury before. The clash of the titans.

That knockdown in the 12th, man I really thought Fury was literally dead. Then he gets back up, and isn't even punch drunk. Amazing.
-
This fight is an all-timer but with the backstory of Fury's comeback being sparked by Wilder saying 'Fury is finished' it's just the best. Insane trilogy
-
That tongue action by Fury at the end of the 10th round was the highlight of the match.
-
Fury stood up like I did, when I woke up at 4:00 AM to go to the DMV

Tyson got up like he accidentally fell asleep after hitting snooze.

Getting up from that second knockdown took balls man. Both these guys are warriors. This is one of the best fights I've ever watched

Wilder might have been the very best heavyweight of his era if it wasn't for this inhuman monster tyson fury. How he got up and got better than he was before is something I never seen before. He got hit with 3 monster punches from one of the hardest punchers of all time and got up and was renewed with energy. Tyson is some kind of odd creature.
