a few days in the studio at my artist residency in the south of France - glazing my ceramics before their final kiln firing and preparing for my final art exhibition, which will be held in an ancient French chapel. While my work was in the kiln, I visited the lovely little town of Eze, which is situated high up in the mountains to reflect on my time here so far.

I love your videos, but please actually educate yourself on the land that you're living in. What the parisans and you call sunny "south of France" is actually Occitania and partially Catalonia and Pais Basque. It's a shame how many people don't know that we have our own language(s), culture and people. The language is still being spoken by many but no many younger people. Our langue was illegal to speak (at least in public) our culture was misunderstood dismissed or just taken and just called French. It's still not officially recognized as a langue in France but is by Catalonia. Weid d'ad you think?I have somany more things to say, but I don't want to bore you. I just want to shatter your idea of France and tell you what is hidden under the hole romanticized stuff. You're a wonderful artist and I think you deserve to know the history of the place you live in right now. At last I want to say: Where there is a language there is a peuple (don't know how to translate this one) with a culture and culture is also langue which brings ud back to the bond of the people. OCCITANIA INDEPENDENTA!!! And if not that at least do the names of the regions right and let us have or langue and culture back! It's a shame how my grandmother that still lives speaks Occitan as her first language, my grandfather is bilingual and my mother and I just barely are a A1 in it. Wonderful Occitan Artist (music rec's are Jacmelina, Claude Marti, Los de Nadau and Maria Roanet.) Sending much love💕🎀 P.S.: It's a quite beautiful language, very poetic at times even and I think more people should learn it that are interested in romance languages, its a little bit like a bridge from French to Spanisch or Spanish to French depending if you're more northern or southern in Occitania. Also the langue is beaning spoken even going into Spain and Italy).
